The Year 2009

2009 was probably the most important year for me, particularly because it marked the birthing of my fervent desire to delve further into the world of film criticism. My year-end Top 10 list underwent a series of semi-serious facelifts as I became more aware of above average foreign and independent cinema, prompting me to keep an eye open for burgeoning talents in the years to come. Furthermore, I’ve decided to list all the films featured in the aforementioned list (along with their iMDB links) despite the absence of full-length reviews here on my blog, if only in an attempt to give you guys and gals an idea of what you may or may not have missed throughout the course of ’09. Scroll to the very bottom for links to my top ten best of the year along with last and next year’s archives.
